Belize - GLOVERS or Lighthouse or.. ?? Going in March 10 - 19

We are new to the site! My son (18) and I are planning to go diving to Belize around mid March and we want to stay for week at one of the atolls. Where would the best place to stay be for both the diving and the resort? We are investigating Lighthouse or Glovers?? If on Glovers, is the Blue hole possible? This is my son's first DIVE vacation since being certified and my first time to Belize. I hear so many great things about it! Thanks if anyone can get us some ideas here! Oh and by the way is the water clear at this time of year?

I have also heard that the Whale sharks are coming in .. so wondering if our time slot would allow for this and where should we stay if we wanted to do BLUE HOLE and WHALE SHARKS. We want it all!! thanks everyone!
