Open Water Certification Wednesday & Thursday!

Hello all!
My husband and I are taking a diving course at our local dive shop in Lake Charles, LA. We had our last pool session yesterday and we'll go for our open water cert. tomorrow. We're pretty stoked to say the least. Most of the people in my family dive and I have a set of twin uncles who are both dive masters. I imagine we'll be taking trips to Athens and to Mammoth Lake to go diving in the water parks. Anyone who has tips, ideas of good places to dive that are semi-local to my area, or wants to set up a trip would be welcome to reply to this thread! Thanks!!

Congratulations. you will love it. I got certified back in 2003 and love it, even if I don't get to as much as I would like. Stay safe!

Congratulations! I'm waiting to do my open water too. Mine is in a week and a half and it seems way too far off.
