I see all these post from exotic places with fantastic photos and great Diving Oppertunities for DM/IDC's. But very little if any on the Gulf of Mexico further South than South Padre Island.
Any and all comments pertaining to the subject would be most helpful.
Go get wet!!!

A year too late, but I just saw your post about diving in the Gulf of Mexico and it happens that I have been living in Veracruz for a while now and I like diving here, there are a lot of places to go, usually the "Anegada de Adentro" and "Anegada de Afuera" where you can find coral and rock bottoms, plenty of life and several wrecks.

There are 5 shops that can take you to any of those places, it takes from 20 to 45 minutes by boat to get to the diving sites.
