I finally fulfilled a childhood dream (since the days of Sea Hunt - yeah, that dates me) of getting scuba certified (PADI Open Water) recently. Unfortunately my girlfriend is medically prohibited from diving. But she can snorkel.

Anyway, I am looking forward to this adventure and getting more training and practice. I have lurked on the boards here a bit, so I thought I might as well make it official.

Glad you're on board. Small world; I'm in Hopkinsville in southwestern KY, where Pennyroyal Blue Springs Resort is (a quarry where a LOT of area training goes on; did you by any chance do some OW dives there?).
