Good afternoon.

I am new to diving and will be going to a few LDS this weekend to check out their open water certification classes. Husband was certified when he was in college but never really used it. Since moving to the Galveston/League City Texas area, and beginning to cruise more often, we have decided we would like to learn to scuba dive so that we can enjoy the ports that we visit on vacations. I've been lurking and reading for the last several days and decided today is good as any to join the forum.

Plenty of good dive shops and scuba parks in the Houston area. My wife and I take at least one cruise a year out of Galveston and we always drag along our scuba gear. Feel free to PM me with any questions about the area and the various shops.
