Hello everyone. I have just got into diving. I am 27, from just north of Memphis Tn. I am in class now to get certified. Its a as we can type class so its slow, but neither me or the instructor have to take off from our regular jobs to train as if now. I am enjoying it so far, pool time only.

Just wanted to get on here, I know forums are good for knowledge in gear, places to go and all that so look forward to getting good info from yall folks!

Welcome to diving and Scubaboard! Dive and learn as much as you can, diving is an amazing sport but you need to stay current and proficient to enjoy it to its fullest.

Welcome to a whole new world... and ScubaBoard, too! We all started some time. Enjoy!

Thanks! Really glad to be getting into it. My dad, uncle, ain't and there son ( my cousin) all just got certified and so we will be doing a lot of family dives! We will be diving in Honduras next spring while on a carnival cruse. So that will be awesome!!

I am getting in really cheap for my gear. Getting stuff in great condition 2nd hand! No complaints.

I have a Zeagle escape BCD, and a HelO2 dive watch to start with. The two ( including the transmitter for watch) are costing me $950. So can't argue that!

I have a general mask but am wanting to know some info on the frameless mask... What's the differences? What mask would be a good one for a while?

Hi, I'm new, I want to say hello to everyone

Hello all! I am also new to the site and to diving. I recently moved to Guam, and got dive certified ASAP! I've got 12 dives, and getting more every weekend. I purchased a full set of gear second-hand, had it inspected/serviced, and can't stay out of the water now.

Welcome to our wonderful world!
