Hey ScubaBoarders,

Just thought I'd stop by and introduce myself. I've been diving since 2012 - did my initial work through PADI (OW/AOW/Nitrox) in the Caribbean, Belize/PDC-Coz/Roatan - then moved to SoCal and the LA area where I got into California diving, did my Rescue and EFR class, and decided to go pro on the boat trip back... As soon as PADI processes my application I'll be a divemaster (who needs all the continued experience he can get) and I'm starting IDC now, though I likely won't finish or take the IE until next April's SoCal exam.

Please be gentle! Hope to find some fun folks on here. And sorry about the terrible moniker, it was just too easy to put on an LA County DBA... :)

Steve

Welcome to the SB world and congrats on completing your DM! Any plans on working in the dive industry when you complete the IE?

Welcome to SCUBAboard!

Yep, I'll teach part time out of the shop where I'm doing my IDC, mostly weekends. It should be fun, and I love teaching in other contexts, so teaching scuba is a natural fit.
