Flops onto the deck and retches pathetically

Hi all,

I have just joined, having stumbled on the site by accident.

My fiancee and I just complete our advanced open water certification in Cyprus, and intend to log another 20 dives or so in the next year (fingers crossed).

We want to learn as much as we can about diving and diver saftey, though, as we're aware that PADI can be a little light on detail at times.

Ahoy there Verne! Welcome to the board!! Feel free to jump in anywhere and ask questions or just leave your 2psi. :D You may be intersted in the forums under The Art of Scuba Diving. Under that heading you'll find New to Scuba, Dive into Fitness, Public Safety and many more that as you become involed with the sport may or may not interest you depending upon where your intersts grow.

Another forum area that may interest you is the Scuba Board Clubs section of the board where many of us coordinate meeting up for dives, getting together, trips around the state to different dive sites, and some general prattle about diving with others from our state/regions.

Thanks for signing up, we look forward to diving with you soon! :D

Love the subject line!

Welcome Aboard!!!

It's addictive, but who cares?!?!?

Good friends and good info. What could be better???

P.S. - If you have not already done so, please fill out your profile.

It seems a lot of us found the board by accident. Or is it an accident??? hymmmmm

Welcome to ScubaBoard!

I think you'll find a lot of information here at ScubaBoard that will help fill in the gaps.

Dive safe!

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

I know how your feel about the dive agency. I've got a few cards, but I've learned more here.

Heya and welcome to the Board. I agree, sometimes the info we get can be quite vague. I stay updated by reading different dive magazines, review this board, and by just diving more often. If there's ever anything thing you need help with or just want to voice your concerns, all of us are here for you.

Welcome!
You stumbled onto the right board. You'll find all info you need here.

Well let me be the first to offer our deck-retching new friend a virtual beer...

Welcome to the board,
Grier
