Hello, just registered. I'm a diver from Hong Kong. Anyone been to Asia lately?
Hi, Ina, and welcome to ScubaBoard. I was in the Indian Ocean in February and March diving in Madagascar and the Seychelles. That's not Asia, but It's as close as I've gotten while diving--I was in Bali a couple of years ago.
So what's the diving like in Hong Kong, Ina? Are all those little islands good? How about the Zhu?
If leading dives is herding cats, is leading training dives herding Schrodinger's cats?
And the SB Politeness Award goes to . . . Doc Vikingo, for "I find this assertion not compelling." The measure of a good dive plan is its impermeability.
Poor dive plans, on the other hand, tend to be water-soluble.
hey there, nei ho, and welcome to scuba board!! (does one speak Cantonese in HKG or Manderin?)
i have been to HKG, but only once and only for a very short period on my way to Kunming and Lijiang in Yunnan Province. I just did all the stupid tourist things (Vitoria Peak, Stanley Market, Junk Boat ride, bla bla bla...), but it was fun because somebody payed for us to stay in the Shangri-la. the airport was also really nice!!i have also been to Myanmar (only for a day though), Tokyo, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Angkor Wat, Koh Samui, Koh Tao, and Singapore. it was a blast.
Welcome to scuba board! Sorry, I haven't been to Asia, though I'd like to go sometime. Hope to see you around the board, and if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
