:sunny Hi there! My name is Matt. Welcome to Scuba Board! I came here looking for help with my diving dream. I’ve met a lot of nice divers and many helpful divers too. I think you will get the information you need from SB. I look forward to reading more of your posts about your diving adventures. If you’d like to chat, please PM me.
I am looking forward to seeing you some more around the boards!

Diving is one of the most addictive thing you will experience. Once you start you will never stop. It’s great!!! You will soon, like all of us, like to have nitrogen in your blood…

Have a question?
Going somewhere?
Want to meet new people/buddy

This is the place to be :thumb:
Enjoy your stay and be careful can be very addictive

Welcome Aboard!!!

It's addictive, but who cares?!?!?

Good friends and good info. What could be better???

P.S. - If you have not already done so, please fill out your profile.

Congradulations

You are one of us now.  I'm not sure about Miami diving, but if you are willing to go a little further north, there is some good diving in Ft Lauderdale and Pompano. Check Florida Conch Divers forum.

Well new to the forum, I love to dive but don't have a partner could anyone direct me to the proper place to find one !

Cheers

Congrats on your certification.

As to Miami dive sites - it depends what you're looking for. We've got a great variety of dive sites in the area, from healthy, shallow reefs that you can access from shore (~20-25 fsw) to deep wrecks. There are dozens of wonderful dives between West Palm Beach and Key Largo (about 1 hour drive north or south from Miami).

Why don't you browse through the Trips and Happenings folder in the Florida Conch Divers forum. That's where we post our dive plans and trip reports. And if you see something you'd like to do, you can start a thread and see who's availble to buddy with you. For convenience's sake, we usually include the dive site and the tentative date in the thread header.

Incidentally, all of the dives listed there are open to the public, so feel free to join us on a dive!

Welcome to the board,
Grier

alainF,
You should start your own introduction thread so we can greet you properly. Seems you accidentally replied your introduction to someone elses intro. We could probably help you find a dive buddy but first we need to know where you are, are you certified? Please fill out your profile and start your very own introduction thread and we'll get to work getting you diving.

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Congrats on your new cert! You may want to ask your question about the Miami Beach area in our Florida Conch Divers forum.

Don't forget to fill out your profile, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.
