Hello, Dive Belize! If you find yourself in the North of the state, near Crescent City, the rocks that stretch out toward the Point St.George lighthouse make great cold-water diving. That is, if the visibility is good. September and October tend to be better in that regard.

I live just over the border, in Oregon. But I'm headed down to San Diego next week to dive their "wreck alley." Several vessels have been sunk to make artificial reefs and interesting dives, and I'm really looking forward to that. I'm using the "Lois Ann" dive boat operator, and I recommend them.

Check out the California dive clubs for more information--in the "Scubaboard Clubs" forums.

Best regards,
Bryan

Hi divebelize and welcome to Scubaboard! I'd follow El Orans advice and click that link that'll take you to the California Kelp Divers Forum. You're sure to find someone to dive with.

Heya and welcome to the Board! Sorry can't help you with your dive location, not unless your headed to Florida :D ..... Let us know how your dives go.

Howdy!

I just want to join the others in welcoming you to SB. Hope to get to know you around the forums. Stay in touch with us even after you go home.

Completing your Profile and seperately - keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving discussions. PM me if I can help you learn your way around.

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

You'll find lots of people to go diving with here in California. As others have mentioned the California Kelp Divers forum is a great place to start.

Don't forget to fill out your profile and dive info, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally. After all California is a big state.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.
