Hello I am new to this form.

My name is mike and 17 years old.

I had done my first test, which composed of a written test and 2 or 3 sessions in the pool.

I want to do my open water dive this winter hopefully in Cuba or somewhere nice.

I was wondering if you would be able to give me some feed back on some good equipment. I was looking more in particular the Zeagle and Genesis equip.

Thank you

Welcome Mike! And welcome to diving!
Your equipment question is very open ended, and your best shot at a quality answer might be to ask a specific question about some specific gear in the forum that supports it. For example, go to the Regulators forum and ask something about regulators. Or play around with the search function. There are hundreds of educational posts on ScubaBoard just waiting for you to read them.
Enjoy!

Heya Mike, welcome to the Board. You might want to check out here for the information your seeking. You'll get a ton of different opinions, but ultimately, it will be you that will have to decide what gear will best accommodate the type of diving your future holds.
Please feel free to pm any of us, we're here to help.

Cheers,
Vickie

WELCOME to ScubaBoard!!!
WhooHoo!! Welcome to the Addiction and welcome to decisions 101. Dive into the board, get a million bits of advice and tons of opinion, sort through it and get your stuff. . . REPEAT.
That's both some of the agony and some of the fun of this great addiction.

STOCK MESSAGE
Hmm. Maybe.
This is a great place to meet people, talk about diving, and get information on just about any aspect of diving -or other subjects sometimes- that you can think of. Roaming through the forums is great help for me.
Now get wet with us and dive into the forums to ask questions, answer those that you can and even chat with folks about diving dreams and nightmares. ScubaBoard is a great place to spend your required Surface Intervals.
Again, Welcome to the greatest addiction!
It's so easy to forget the things that we love, but here at ScubaBoard, we're all doing our dead level best to maintain the highest level of SCUBA ADDICTION possible.
Please stay with us, interact, and keep your need to get wet alive!
When you post a question, be as sure as you can that it's in the right forum or you'll probably find it moved to where it can receive better attention.
The folks here are passionate about their diving, some about their specialty, so the reading can get very interesting, sometimes very hot.
Don't forget, if you haven't already done it, to fill out you profile as completely as reasonable, it'll save you being asked and having to repeat the information often.
