Hi people,
I am 33 years old and I live in the Netherlands. My real name is Robert. I have started diving a couple of years ago and did the PADI open water course. After a while I was forced by circumstances to pause the hobby, sadly. But now I am able and ready to start again. I'll be starting a combination course open water and open water advanced this January. I view it as a sort of crash course to refresh my basic skills and to elaborate somewhat on them. My goals are clear: dive and have fun, take many courses to make sure I am up to scratch with my skills and I have joined a diving team to ensure a steady flow of buddies to dive with.
Since I am a physiologist by profession I also plan to take some DAN courses to gain some insight into divingphysiology. This is just a sort of professional deformation, I love to know more about how the body functions. Of course, this is for later; first the introductory courses.
Cheers,
Robert
