I just don't log dives
Just wanted to say Hi to all on board. I started diving in 1963 and still find it exciting and facinating. I am a PADI instructor and teach in the St. Charles MO area. Look forward to chatting with all.

I used to work in St. Louis County right across the river from St. Charles but never did any diving in the area. I do reutrn now and then and have wondered what the diving is like there. Where do you dive? I might remember the names. I used to canoe on the Current River and was wondering if anyone dives in the river or springs. Thanks for any info.

Hi Modiver,

Good to have you aboard! I would be very interested in hearing more about the diving in MO. I am always curious about the diving activities of people in landlocked states. Is it mostly lake or river diving, etc.

I look forward to seeing you around. If there is anything I can do for you, let me know.

Cheers,

My email handle is Modiver but I just go by Mo here. I'm also new to this forum.

Been diving 9 years, have 600+ logged dives, and 99.8% of them are cold water dives done right here off the coast of NJ.

Heya Mo and MOdiver ...

Quick question for either of you ... For the life of me I can't remember the name of the river and wanted to know if either of you could help.

While I was stationed in Ft Leonardwood, MO. we used to make a short car trip to this river that was so perfectly clear and drift dive down it. I remember they had these checkpoints that you could be driven too where they would drop you off with a canoe so you could drift down the river and even had places you could stop off and camp. I know it wasnt too far from the base and I even have pictures I could scan of it if it might help but I have been trying to remember the name of it. Any ideas ?

=-)

...In my case, Mo is short for Maureen.

Well I must say I enjoy the web site and would like to say hello to all of you. I have been diving since 1976 and have dived all over North America and other parts of this world. Keep on getting down

A sunny welcome to the board from across the pond in UK.
This morning's rain has left us now. Don't things look better when the sun shines!
