Greetings from Pennsylvania ScubaBoard members! A pristine, beautiful land that...

Would have more divers...except it is still too cold to dive in a wetsuit.

Would have better visibility underwater...if there were no algae blooms during the warmer seasons.

Would be a diving mecca...if rivers and quarries offered the best diving.

I have been sneaking a glimpse at the posts between activities at my job as an aquatics director at my local YMCA, and I look forward to being a part of them. Currently, I have 30 logged dives, and I hold my advanced and rescue certifications through NAUI as well as a nitrox certification through TDI.

Any divers interested in Pennsylvania diving? North Carolina diving? Please send me a message.

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

I like the idea of being in the "woulds"!

Don't forget to fill out your profile and dive info, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically from simply looking at your profile, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or respond to in this forum.

Thanks to all for the advice, warm greetings, and links. I have seen your name in many a forum, Don. Where do you find the time? Anyway, nice to meet you.

I am very much interested in diving the wrecks. I heard of North Carolina diving shortly after I was certified, and I want to earn my wreck diving certification there. Making time is hard for me to do these days, and it is the reason for my late reply to your messages. With my work schedule, it may be next week or next month. Someday...

Why NC? It just looks like a nice place to visit.
