    Whaleshark & Cenotes Excursion Details

    Below is the details on the 2 Excursions that are offered at this years 2012 Invasion.
    Both excursions will be on Friday July 6th and are NOT part of the package.
    You can book these when you call Al or Felix to join the Invasion.
    This is a special price for the Invasion crew, space is limited.

    Invasion Central

    Whale Shark Tour – 40 spaces available

    Cost- $175/per person
    Does not include the cost of the ferry, about $15 USD each way. Gratuities not included.

    A full-day excursion to snorkel with the Whale Sharks off the Yucatan peninsula.

    GUARANTEED VIEWING – IF YOU DON´T SEE ANY WHALE SHARKS YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL REFUND – however there has never been a trip in their history where they didn't see whale sharks….

    Description of Tour- Travel times (other than ferry departure) are approximates

    - Departure at 6:00 AM on ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen (approx $15USD p/p one way)

    - Pick up at 6:45 AM at Playa del Carmen pier -Sr. Frogs – look for the driver with the large WHALE SHARK SIGN.

    - 8:00 AM Arrive Gran Puerto (Ultramar pier). Participants received with coffee, tea, cookies. Bathrooms available.

    - Briefing and explanation of tour along with security measures that clients must take. Question and Answer session.

    - 9:00 AM departure of tour from the pier. On board box lunch including a sandwich, water, soft drink and fruit. During the tour the captain will take the group out to the whale shark sightings where 2 people at a time will be in the water with the bilingual guide. Time varies as the whales move from place to place.

    - 1:30 PM return from tour to Gran Puerto for a delicious CEVICHE served with fruit water. Soft drinks and other beverages available for purchase.

    - 3:00 PM arrive back to Playa del Carmen where you can take the next ferry back to Cozumel or stay in Playa and look around a bit. (ferry cost not included)

    Bring some form of ID (driver’s license or passport). A shorty is recommended for added buoyancy.


    Cenote “Double Underground” Trip – 20 spaces available

    Cost- $155/per person
    Does not include the cost of the ferry, about $15 USD each way. Gratuities not included.

    A full-day excursion to dive two cenotes on the Yucatan mainland! These magnificent caverns offer crystal-clear visibility and the world's best freshwater diving.

    Includes includes transportation from Playa del Carmen, 2 cenote dives and snacks, tanks, weights & lights.

    9:00 am - participants take the 9:00 AM ferry from Cozumel to Playa Del Carmen.
    9:30 am - Aquatech meets you at the pier in Playa Del Carmen and provides roundtrip transportation from the Playa Del Carmen ferry pier. Dive two different cenotes.
    6:00 pm - back in Playa del Carmen for the ferry back to Cozumel.
