You bet Chip, the Duane/Bibb trip was the second best boat trip IMO.

Double dipping the Grove would be hard to top. Maybe if things go right we can drift the Grove like last year.

I see you have choosen to go CHUCKIE on Saturday morning.
I'll be looking for more fish from you than last year.

Just booked my dives!

I did one of the spearfishing trips (Howard, we will talk! ).

Some of the trips are booked, I think two. There is still plenty of stuff available, but two of the wreck trips are full.

I can move around some if necessary, but after taking a look at this, I thought I best book now!

So Gary, does that Newton really hold 30 in a comfortable manner, or are we going to be sharing sun tan lotion with buddies on both sides! No worries, it's all good.

Looking forward to a great weekend of diving, fun, and good dive buddies!

Probably a dumb question but is the spear fishing trip a free dive only trip?

I am going solo to this event and have one of the king rooms. If anyone wants to split and adopt the other bed, PM me. Below are my qualifications.
1. I don't snore enough to wake myself up.
2. House broken...usually.

No, both spearfishing trips will be SCUBA trips.

Thank for the info. Sounds like fun. Will a sling work or should it be a gun?

You can use either, most if not all of us will be shooting with guns but your more than welcome to use a sling if you want.

Drifting the Grove is a great way to go with or without current!

The Duane/Bibb trip was booked, so that would be a good candidate to switch boats! I wanted that dive, but ZERO, Nada, don't pass go!

I booked with Brent on Sunday afternoon! Snapper Ledge is a really fun second dive, and the Duane is always fun.

However I may need a ride from Gary's to Brents, or I may end up having to cancel. One difficult thing about switching Ops, is.... well switching Ops!

Ron,

It actually holds 38, but I didn't want to have to grease everyone up to get on and off the boat, so I think we'll hold at the 30 number. Yes we've had 28 on the boat so far and it's quite comfortable. Really amazing how a boat 14.5' wide and 46' long can hold that many divers without everyone getting in each others way.

See ya at the invasion,

Babysitting for SB sitters for all our events

Just spoke to Cheryl at this sitter service and her sitters will be more than happy to come and take care of our children anywhere in Florida that we need them. For however long we need them. She was very excited that we have such a large group of Divers who are sometimes in need of day or night care. The prices are not bad, I did talk to her about a daycare sitting to keep the kids all together and she said if we wanted to do that it would be fine she could send a couple of sitters to one place. So she is willing to work with Scubaboard members to meet their needs.

Here is the web site: Florida Vacation Babysitting - 888-609-8979
888-609-8979 Cheryl

I plan on using her for some of these events so if someone needs a sitter we can go in on the cost.

Best of all she can even send a sitter out to campsites so while we are diving and the kids are at camp they have someone with them. Just having that peace of mind is great!!!
