2nd Night Dive Boat?

There has been some discussion about adding a second boat for a night dive. In an effort to see how many people are interested... Please speak up here.

I can either go with Capt Slate or use Conch's 2nd boat (smaller)

Night dives ARE 1 tank only. If we used Capt Slate's it would probably be a reef dive (so OW divers can go)

How about a night wreck dive? Last year we did one and I'd do one again in a heartbeat.

The Conch Republic night dive will probably be the Eagle. (wreck) everyone signed up is AOW or higher (I'm pretty sure)

Anxious for night dive, but not AOW

I don't want to limit anyone here, but I would opt for Cap't Slates boat so I could go, since I do not have AOW.

I got nitrox certified in WPB and did fifteen dives below eighty feet, but that will be beyond the six month criteria listed in the cert requirements for dives like the Eagle.

If it becomes an issue, I will crack the books and try to complete my AOW in time, or go to Gilboa quarry and try to hit 80 feet a few times without freeflowing my reg.

IMO get AOW. You will need it, maybe not today, but maybe in July!

OTOH, you can also just do a lot of diving, at least for this trip!

A lot of boats however don't allow one to dive deep without AOW... period.

It is added. We need a minimum of 8 divers to make this trip go. If we don't get at least 8, it could get canceled.
