I was contacted last week by Scuba Board and asked to do the shirts and design this year for Invade the Keys IV.
I was also informed that SB would not be involved in ordering the shirts, selling or distributing commemorative shirts for ITK this year. What does this mean?
It means that I have no (0) time to order supplies to complete these shirts and all costs and expenses for production and sales will be out of my pocket...

or there will be no shirts for ITK IV

If 60 shirts are ordered via pre-sales & pre-payment, 60 shirts will be delivered at ITK IV
If 72 shirts are ordered via pre-sales & pre-payment, I will have a limited extra quantity available for sale at ITK IV! (L & XL men's white only for the extra quantity)

I reserve the right to minor changes if I feel something isn't working in the design - Rest assured the major elements will still be there they just might be in a different location, slightly different size or color

If pre-ordered and pre-paid, it will be delivered at Kawama, Holiday Inn, Marina Del Mar hotel, Ocean Point Suites, Conch Republic, at the Friday Kawama party or at the Saturday Island Grill party... Your choice
I guess I'll just comment that I won't be buying a shirt this year (after I was obviously very interested in doing so ITK IV T-shirts) because I don't see where it says "ITK IV" or "Invade the Keys IV" anywhere on the shirt...

Hmmmm...I see a Scubaboard logo. I see, "We have successfully invaded this land for the fourth time."
Not exactly what you want, but it says the same thing, just in a much more clever manner.
I thought 10 July 2009 and 13 July 2009 were the dates, I see them on the design.
Looks like a great design! Very sharp, especially on such short notice.
Well maybe it's just me, but I don't think I'd be reading the paragraph written in a book on someone's t-shirt. However "ITK IV July 10-July 13, 2009" would be easy to spot.
It's kind of like "burying the lead" in journalism or other forms of writing.
I think next year we should do what we did last year. Have more than one person make some designs, take a vote, etc. Howard said he wanted to avoid the circus this year, but I think as a result of "avoiding the circus" we are going to settle for a shirt that might not have "won" the contest (had we actually had one).
