    CRKT Aqua Dive Knife

I saw this knife for the first time in a catalog at a dealers show I went to this weekend. The knife looks very simple and reliable and I personally own two CRKT(Columbia River Knife and Tool) and they are high quality. My question concerns the attachment to the BCD, I was wondering if anyone has this particular knife and could tell me if the attachment is good, bad, or "stay away from this one" I am thinking about getting this but just wanted to check here first.

I have no experience with that particular sheath but I do have experience with that style of sheath and AUS-8 steel.

The sheath seems friction fit and should serve you well.

I'd be more concerned with the steel. Despite claims to the contrary, AUS-8 is not extremely corrosion resistant when exposed to salt water. I advise you remove the scales if you use it in salt water; they'll trap water and hasten corrosion.

I suggest you take a look at the Benchmade "River Odysey" .. I think that is what it's called, or wait for SpyderCo to release their fixed blade version of the "Salt" series.
