I am interested in Ocean Master Titanium Knife. Do you have any experience with this knife? The cheapest price that I found is $70. Is it worth for $69?

Which tip is the most useful among three tips; point, blunt, and tanto?

Thanks in advance,

Safe dive!

The one thing to keep in mind is to make sure u won't freak out if u lose your 70 dollar knife. . . that said i have a blunt tip knife because they are good for prying.

just my .02

I actually just spent $14.95 on a Blue Reef knife at LeisurePro and really dig it. I'm retiring my big UK Blue Tang/Crocodile Dundee "now that's a" knife for it. I can't really imagine needing more knife than that.

The "DIR" Halcyon knife is the little $23 Akona, too, which is also nice: http://www.leisurepro.com/Catalog.a...temIndex=2&CategoryID=968&Context=965&Filter=

I have one and have yet to use it. Although the blade doesn't rust, the stainless steel end cap does. The double locking mechanism is great for keeping the expensive blade from falling out, but it is not easy to get it out with gloves on. I stil wear it on my leg, just in case though.

I also have shears, which I have used several times. They cost $15 and if I drop them it is no big deal. My recommendation is to get a cheap knife and a pair of shears.

What are you going to do with that knife my son, attack great whites???
