Hey all, Im going to be moving to the North GA area next spring. Im going to be looking for a good dive shop, and Im curious about the diving oppotunities there. Ive been diving lake ontario and the St. Lawrence river for the past couple years. Im originally from Ga so im glad to finally be headed home. I look forward to hearing from yall. Appreciate your time.
[countdown=10/8/2010 12:00 PM;Vortoberfest VI]Count down:[/countdown] VORTOBERFEST VI Long after man is gone and his dams burst, the rivers will, once again, flow freely to the sea.
Ill be moving to the Dahlonega area, im not very familiar with that area. My old stomping grounds were around Warner Robins and Perry. So im lookin forward to spending some time up in mountains, but Iam even more excited to get back in some warmer water...LOL
ive dove with a group of guys in Ellijay before, dont know how close that is to dahlonega as when im more thn 2 miles away from my house my sense of direction becomes like someone who is brand new to living :P
but you gotta get down to lanier and dive with us.
anyone seen Ed lately or is he busy with school atm
you are just right up the road from the looney birds stompping grounds, there is a dive shop in cumming and two in roswell. When you get settled in and ready to dive let us know as we usually have a dive going on every week or two out at the lake, you should feel right at home with the cold water.
