Susan and I are going up to Loch Low-Minn this weekend, anyone else going to be there?

Had 4 great dives, met a great new dive buddy (Reta).

Mike,

Do you have water temps and depths for the dive as well as a report on vis?

Thanks,

Josh

Temperatures varied depending on where in the quarry you were. One profile was:

10 ft - 76
20 ft - 72
30 ft - 68
35 ft - 66

Another was:

15 ft - 84
32 ft - 68
40 ft - 63

At another spot 40 ft was 68 at yet another it was 60 so take your pick!

We did a traverse from the shark (about 50 feet northwest of the platform over by the snowman boat right by the memorial.) back to the dock at 20 feet and could see the bottom weeds all the way back. So viz was at least 40 foot or more in places where the divers hadn't kicked up a bunch of bottom muck. My dive buddy saw a paddle fish, unfortunately by the time I got turned around it had scaddadled. The pictures in the album of the paddlefish are from a dive last year.
