Making my first trip to Tobago end of Sept to Oct. 8. anybody who sees this and can give diving, food, dryland adventure, or any other tobago advice would be most appreciated. Staying at a rental house near Plymouth (by Arnos Vale Resort), will have rental car....I dive and the wife doesn't, planning on diving with ExtraDivers (tho I've not paid a deposit yet if anybody has negatives with them)....Picked ExtraDivers primarily coz they have shops in south and in speyside so I can dive both sides of the island with them. Would especially appreciate any feedback on possible shore diving.
Experienced AOW/Nitrox cert diver with about 250 dives, mostly in carib and mexico.

thanks for any info you might have

ciao :D

Hey brannanjoe,

Found some links that might be of some help to you re Tobago.

Might give you an idea of what to expect and dive sites to look out for.

Hmmm... not sure, but I think this is a slightly weird time of the year in Tobago (I've only been there in the spring). The water's more clear, due to less run-off from the Orinoco, but there's some kind of interaction due to heat/cold between the Atlantic and the Carib.

Email ahead, and get as much info as you can on this time of year from experienced local divers and fishermen.

Definitely do a trip report.
