I'm staying at the Buccaneer, and planning on getting some tanks tomorrow to dive right off the beach here. The reef at the Grotto is just a few feet off the beach. It's not the greatest spot, there is some silt due to a little surge, but there's a decent amount of life.
Snorkeled there today, and I' guess deepest we hit was maybe 10' or so.
Only reason I'm looking to dive, is because I want to bring my rig in and do some macro photography...and because I'm feeling a little lazy, and don't want to hop a boat. Looking to be in the water by noon and out by 2:00. May just do one really long dive.
Between rain last night and this morning, and wind and chop now, I'm sure vis is worse, and water is colder.
Also small craft advisory, so I think I'm bailing. Doubt the hotel would even let me go out, that's if the shop would even deliver the tanks now.
