I'm disappointed to report my nearly new 150' HOG Revolve Reel has cracked in two spots. I only deployed it three times out of the ten dives it was carried on. I felt it break as I used it to tether a 3' Halcyon DSMB during deployment.
Looks like HOG will consider accepting it as a warranty issue after they inspect it.
I have to say my five year old ABS plastic no-name reel has taken absolute beating without deforming or breaking.
