I have a light Monkey 21W 10 Ah Can light and have had some of the supplied chargers fail (powerizer 3P30-L3012).

I have access to a Sky Imax B6 charger, that should work as a replacement, but would like to compare settings with someone already successfully using one, to ensure optimal charging

Anyone use such a charger already for Li Can lights ?

Thanks in advance

not familiar with the Imax, but as long as you have the compatible plug, and it has no problem with the 12.6v DC it shouldn't be an issue. The powerizer has output of 1.8a, so as long as you're at or below it will be fine and you might get better life if the imax is a better smart charger. Batteries are batteries though, as long as the input voltage is right, and the input amperage isn't so high it cooks them, they don't particularly care what is sending the power to them.

What are the series for the can battery pack? Try to use the AUTO fuction on Sky Imax B6 charger; but one thing is for sure that when you charge the lithium battery pack, it is better to control the rate under 1C.

Sky Imax B6 charger would charge in different way as original charger . For Sky Imax B6 charger you need battery configured with single cell output ( for 12V .. 4pin connector which go direct to charger )

because charger switches between cells and measures them between charging ) . You also need physical contact with batteries to put on them temperature sensor (not on outer side of tank )

LM have inside build- in BALANCING and protection circuit and just need stable voltage and current
