We are going on a exploratory dive trip to Coiba National Park which is a Unexo World Heritage in Panama on the MV Yemaya Liveaboard. As far as we know it is most closely compared to diving areas such as Cocos for sightings of large pelagics such as numerous shark species and whale sightings, but it is suppose to have some corals and a few macro opportunities as well.
We will see if this is true and hope to have a full trip report when we get back in May, if it is good we will hopefully arrange a group trip for possibly next year for those interested and may even be able to combine Coiba with a trip to dive Malpelo Island another awesome place for big fish encounters.
Wish us luck and has anyone else dove in Coiba off the Yemaya and what did you think?:eyebrow:

Good luck - I had posted an inquiry about this boat in the liveaboard section - but no real information was forthcoming.

A trip report would be great!

I saw the report on your web site but it would be really fantastic if you could load some more detail here... for example, did you see any sharks or larger species? All your images (very nice BTW) are small animals and lovely fish. And did you got to Malpelo? THanks in advance.
