Thank you for all of your helpful information. I have booked at the West Plaza Malakal, and from your descriptions of the hotel and surrounding restaurants, etc., I am glad I've settled in there.
I've begun to feel like I should have booked for two weeks in a row aboard the PAII, since the cost of the airfare was so high. I can't go any earlier in Sept, but can extend for another week into Oct.
I am really looking forward to this trip, but it still seems like a long time off. Maybe a filler trip before then to T&C this spring.
