The Beluga is cuter!

I think it's fascinating from several perspectives. One, that the whale is so patient and accommodating. The second is that China has 280 million children! Wow! That’s slightly under the entire population of the United States! The third is how in the heck did they get a Beluga? Probably did a trade for a Whale Shark or something. As per cute - the kid is a pawn of the government painting favorable pictures for the press & Olympics. Hey, maybe when he grows up he does a complete “back flip” and becomes a staunch defender of wildlife?

Thanks for putting up the Poco pages. He was a very special whale. I followed his story for a while. I wish he hadn't succumbed to an illness.
