Diced lobster meat from 4 tails steamed until firm and white
1 Cup heavy cream
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup broth from tail shells or chicken broth
1 teaspoon lime juice
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 teaspoon dill
1 small onion
1 crushed clove fresh garlic
1 medium sized chopped bell pepper
1/4 stick butter
Saute butter, onion, pepper, garlic, curry powder, lime juice, and dill in a suitable soup pot
add broth milk and cream, heat slowly at medium low heat, do not let bisque boil
add cooked lobster meat and let simmer for at least an hour
The only way to cook lobster is to toss it into a pot and boil it. Any other way ruins the wonderful lobster flavor.
I almost agree, but baked stuffed is awfully good too. Just twist his claws off, put him on his back, stick the tip of a good sized chef's knife through his head, and rock the knife back so it splits the tail's undershell. Pack the body with your best stuffing, and get him in the oven before he stops struggling.
