Of course I did. Did you even think before posting a link to an outside web site titled "Underwater Shocker" without one word describing what it was about?

How about this? Some idiot posts something titled "Shocker on the Beach", insists you click on it to see for yourself, and asks if you think it really works. You click on the unidentified link at work and it turns out to be a highly disturbing porn clip involving animals and dismembered body parts (Yep, a "shocker"). Your boss, watching over your shoulder, is not amused and now the fact you've visited that link from work is in the log for your termination hearing.

No need to apologize - I didn't waste nearly as much time as you did responding. Your video link was totally useless to me on the phone on which I was reading the board, so I couldn't waste any time watching it.

Once I was on a computer at home on which the video is viewable, I DID waste my time watching it. Later I tried from work, but The Daily is blocked by the web filters there.

There is absolutely nothing at all in the video that isn't covered by the caption: "A low-voltage electric current runs through this coral reef off Bali in Indonesia and helped bring it back to life. Scientists say the same technology could benefit reefs all over the world."

It's a very bad idea and shows questionable judgment to click on unidentified links in a message board posting, especially on a work or shared computer. That's why we have the ability to embed multimedia here - that way, the content is immediately apparent and nobody has to leave the site to retrieve it.

I wish I could find an information-free video that explains how dorky it is to post a video link without bothering to cut-and-paste the brief caption that summarizes everything in the video or at least provide a short statement about what it depicts before expecting anyone to click it.
No countdown timer for our next trip to Cozumel 21 April 2012.
