Mantis Shrimp with eggs

Following on TS&M's thread about Jawfish with eggs, and my knowledge that female octopus die of starvation whilst looking after their eggs, what is the story about Mantis Shrimp?

I assume they survive, but do they fast during the period when looking after the eggs?
