    Any oceanagraphers out there?

I was just kind of trying to find out if there were any oceanagraphers on this board. It seemed like an interesting thing to do, and I think it would be nice to talk to some people in the field about how they like it, and what they usually do. I know what they tell you in schools, and what you actually end up doing can be two diffrent things.

    Thanks,
    Will

You can look at my profile, and I wrote this little blurb last year when someone attacked my credentials. I don't like to show off.

I was a shipboard ocean tech for a lot of years. Here's a link to a good article on working in the oceanographic field.
