    UPDATE ABOUT FINANCIAL HELP NEEDED:

***Thank You everyone who has helped so far! This trip may be a huge opening for the future of ventilator dependent divers!***

I will be attending the AARC, respiratory conference in Las Vegas (December 4-10th). Newport Medical has asked me to speak at this conference about my scuba diving experience while using a Newport HT50 ventilator.

Newport is covering airfare for my caregivers and myself; all conference tickets, and the lodging is covered by another donor; however, we still need $1000.00 to cover other expenses such as a handicap van rental. Donations are being accepted at Matthew Johnston : Diving a Dream (non-profit organization).

    Sincerely Appreciative,

    Matthew Johnston

    Hi Matt,

Hope your holidays went well. But what I'm really curious about is how your presentation at the conference went. No public speaking jitters? Were there any scuba divers in the audience? How long did your presentation go? Many questions? Can we somehow see the presentation and/or your presentation materials? etc.

    thanks,

    Sam
