Now THIS solves the problem of storing the two different magazine formats! Kudos. Too bad there isn't a way to subscribe to it ahead of time, but of course that can't be done!

I do still wish the "World Dive Guide" covered more of the diving world... say Africa and South America (outside of the Galapagos). Maybe even Antarctica (although I can't afford that trip unless I go with Lindblad who I've worked with).

Bill,

I guarantee we used the standard CD sizing for this product, so it will definitely fit properly into your CD rack.

Nick,

You should offer this as a adjunct to the regular subscription. I'd gladly pay a few dollars more for it along with the monthly copy. Do you have CDs from years prior to 2007??

PS> Any discount for current subscribers??

Hello,

Thanks for the feedback, and this is a good idea.

Currently we have only the 2007 CD available, but we're working on years past, including 2005 and 2006.

Thanks and regards,
Nick

I was going to suggest this also....

however, you'd have to wait till the end of the year to get it.

You could fix it so that you could download the entire magazine (for paying subscribers) off the scubadiving.com website each month. (PDF format, etc).

or heck, distribute it free that way in PDF. That way you increase your numbers of viewers for your advertisers. Afterall it's advertisers that like to see their ads viewed more.

Very Cool

Hey Nick,

What a cool thing you're doing with the CD of issues. You guys are doing one hell of a job on all fronts. People love the new look and feel of your mag, I'm one of them.

Keep the enthusiasm going my friend, it's working.

Whew! I was pretty certain you were using standard CD disks. Didn't want to have to deal with the storage issues I have with my 8", 5 1/4" and 3 1/2" floppy discs (yes, I still have hundreds if not thousands of them)! Just teasing, Nick.

I was part of the original floppy disk era. Remember having to flip the little tab over once you inserted the disk to make the computer read it?

Now that I'm older, the term "floppy disk" takes on a whole new meaning.
