    I just clip them to my highest d-ring shoulder- they float above me like strings of flashbulbs used to. The butt clip might be a good place, in my weight distribution, the 1#+ doesn't amount to much.

    I buy them where they are cheap. BassPro had a huge sale, bought the rugged tread ones for $13. I kind of like the Walmart brand ones- the type that are used for kitchen workers- a bit pricey but very durable... maybe $26. Or just get the cheap ones that they sell. There is a Crocs Kisosk in the Houston terminal. They sell at list price.
