Born and raised in Philly area. Now in my 3rd (hopefully last) career, practicing psychotherapy. Avid hiker/backpacker for many years. Thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 1991 and part of it again in 1993, before first child was born (she's now 17). Have another toddler and a baby on the way in March 2011...starting over :-) My wife is a rescue diver, diving for many years. She gave me mask fins and snorkel for my birthday; they sat in the box for a year before I got around to getting certified. Now, can't believe I never tried diving before I met her. I'm hooked.
