My two favorite hobbies are small fast cars and scuba diving....I've resigned myself to a life of being perpetually broke!
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so ~ Douglas Adams

Biography
Hmmm...I've been a paramedic for about two years now. I'm actually from a village in Alaska, but moved to Alabama for my medic internship and got hooked on the warm weather.
Became interested in diving through the various colorful stories a coworker used to tell...my first dive was an unofficial "discover scuba" event at a friend's pool...I couldn't swim at the time and was terrified, but at the same time I loved it (even more after I learned how to swim!). Now, I'm interested in pursuing cavern/cave certification....great, now there goes every spare penny I've earned. Thinking of taking a second job to fund my new addiction :)
