About Boats
Biography
I've just moved down to Hudson Florida, from Toledo Ohio, and its freaking awesome! The sunset, beach, and of course the diving! Boy, I really am going to miss the snow, and just having maybe TWO good months of diving!
On the DOWN side, I don't know any divers! I live about one mile away from SCUBA West, and the guys and gals there are great! Jeff, the owner, has been fantastic in giving me the "lay of the land" and I've been to Hudson Grotto a few times.
My parents have boat, and are RIGHT on the Gulf, so good things await!
I also hike, backpack, and enjoy the local sports scene. I've already been to seven or eight Rays games, and I'm looking forward to football season.
Drop me a line, I'd love to hear from fellow divers throughout the Nature Coast! Places to dive, sights to visit, hit me!
Thanks folks!

Dive History
Well, I was certified in 1985 in Bowling Green Ohio! PADI certified, and as soon as I got my basic certification, I went through the Advanced Open Water Certification class. SO, I consider myself a genuine, OHIO MUD diver! I've dove a TON of quarrys, and the Great Lakes. Hey now, the old wrecks around the islands on Lake Erie where sweet! Maybe 20 feet in depth, just below the thermocline, in nice shape! Lots of zebra mussles. That sort of sucks! I've done ice diving, cold, and some deep wreck diving on Lake Superior hitting freighters. When possible, I'd take a jog down to Florida and dive the springs during the winter.
BUT, now I'm local, so life is good!
Certification History
Just two! Open Water and Advance Open Water. I'd like to my Rescue Diving though, and then work on my Dive Master certification.

Dive Equipment
My regs are US DIVER comshelf, OLD! Top of the line back in the day, I bought them because I did a LOT of cold water diving. I've yet to buy a dive computer, what's the deal? Um.... my mask, snorkel, wetsuit (3mm), BCD and fins are all Oceanic.
