I've been diving since 1963. Diving is the one (only) activity in my life for which I've had no regrets. I've dived in many locations, but my favorite is Indonesia, where I've visited 7 times. I hope to return there one more time. I have between 1500 and 2000 dives, which isn't a lot considering the number of yrs I've been diving. I had a 18-yr hiatus between 1971 and 1989 during which I didn't dive at all. That won't happen again.

I live in Southern Maryland, USA.

I'm retired, so I spend my children's inheritance.

Certification Agencies:
PADI & NAUI.
Dive History:
I started diving while living in Hawaii. I wasn't certified, but I had a neighbor who was in the navy who could check out all the scuba gear he wanted to.
So whenever he was in port he would check out gear for me, him and another friend. We didn't know what we were doing, but we survived.
Certification History:
After Hawaii I lived in Guam. Couldn't get gear unless I got certified, so got basic open water cert.
