Captain Dan Johnson began diving in 1973 and has been an instructor since 1984. As an experienced Lake Michigan shipwreck hunter, he discovered the Kate Kelly and Lumberman shipwrecks off of Racine, Wisconsin in the early 1980's. He has extensive experience in Caribbean travel including Cozumel, Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos (owned Turtle Inn Divers on Providenciales), Roatan, Belize, Bonaire, and the Bahamas. He has led expeditions to Palau, Yap, the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji. Closer to home, Dan also has experience with group travel to Florida, including the Florida Keys, West Palm, and manatee adventures in Crystal River and Ginnie Springs.
