I've always loved the water, was a lifeguard and swimming instructor at the YMCA at 14. Competitive swimmer into college. Started diving in Puerto Rico while on a work assignment. Did a Discover SCUBA 12/04, certified PADI OW, 03/05. Dove as much as I could until the assignment ended (02/06). So, the 1st year was all boat dives in warm Caribbean water off the SW coast of PR. I'm looking to expand my diving horizons and try new things, get another level of certification, buy my own gear & . . .
I travel a lot for work, so when I'm home I like to spend time with my wife and 3 kids and 4 grandchildren. And cooking on my BSKD smoker, play with the grandkids, hangout at the LDS, cook, go fly a kite, play with the g-kids . . .

Certified in Guanica PR, 3/05. Did about 50 dives over the next 13 months in SW PR. Great walls and reefs. Then did about a dozen dives in South Florida, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood areas, plus a trip to the Keys for a few dives. Reiman Aquarium (Discovery World, Milwaukee, WI) dive volunteer, cleaning underwater exhibits, swimming around to entertain the patrons.
