I am a professional strength & conditioning coach, founder and president of Integrated Healing and Strength Systems, Inc. on Bainbridge Island Washington.
My practice is focused on helping folks go from pain ridden individuals to returning to a fully active lifestyle. I combine different approaches of soft tissue therapy including Integrative Neurosomatic Therapy, Positions of Release, Strain-Counterstrain, Fascia mobilization, Therapeutic Cupping, and others
I also combine different resistance training modalities based on the particular needs of the individual. The objective application of biomechanics based on the analysis of an individual's unique structure is my guide. After all, exercise is nothing but the application of mechanical forces to produce a determined result based on the individual's particular characteristics, limitations, lifestyle, and goals ranging from those in need of a rehabilitation program to competitive Olympic Weightlifters and other athletes.
Diving became one of my major obsessions ever since I saw my first Costeau show around the age of 8. Growing close to the Pacific Ocean only fueled that desire.
I was able to fulfill that dream in January 2004, and it has been a most amazing trek since.
I have visited new places, discovered local diving, and met amazing people in the process.
Though the scuba community is not that large in comparison to other activities, and it is not devoid of the flaws of human nature, it is one of the most close knit communities I have ever found and one I enjoy immensely.
