- My husband David, and I (Sunshine) moved from New Hampshire to Westpunt Curacao in 2007. We bought a house and renovated the upstairs into a spacious 3 bedroom vacation rental apartment. We have a weekend restaurant on the terrace and deck that caters mostly to visiting divers. This way we have a never ending supply of dive buddies some novice and some experienced divers from all over the world. We were certified in Bonaire and made 2 return visits but found it too expensive to relocate there. Curacao might actually be a better fit, it has more to offer. We love it here and hope you'll come discover the excellent dive sites with fantastic visibility, healthy reef and warm water. - There are excellent shore dives in Curacao, but the sand gets everywhere, very tough on gear.
