My first open water diving was a during a bareboat sailing charter in the BVI with four friends. I repeated this trip a year later. Then, in July of '05 I went with a larger group to Cozumel, MX. That trip triggered the dive bug. Before a year had passed I had been to Curacao, BVI, N Sulawesi in Indonesia, and Turks and Caicos.
Since then I have been to Utila and Roatan in Honduras, Sipadan in Malaysia, to Cozumel twice more, San Salvador in the Bahamas, PG and Dumaguete in the Philippines, and I went to Curacao again in Dec 2009 and Jul 2011. Went to Saba in June 2011.

I still dive with all my original gear except for exposure suits. I rarely use my full 3ml anymore. I dive a 5ml in water from 26C to 29C. In 25C water I use a 3ml torso warmer with the 5ml. I don't like water colder than 25C (77F) Recently added an Xcel 7mm w/hemp lining. I'm going to challenge cooler waters.
