I was certifed Open Water and Advanced Open Water in Lake Mead outside of Las Vegas. While Lake Mead was awesome and fun, counting how many catfish we could see and looking at schools of Stripers I figured I should dive the ocean. It was my first dive trip out on the Specter to Vetura, part of California's Channel Islands that I was taken away by diving. I now have a wonderful time diving and teaching outside of Jupiter, Florida where the current is strong, the water is warm, and the marine life is always changing.
Certification History:
I got certified at Hall's Dive Center as a NAUI and SSI Instructor in November of 2007 and had a blast teching in florida for a year and a half. Then in 2009 I switched to PADI and tougth for Sport Chalet back in Las Vegas for the next year and a half holding all day BBQ's and dive events. However the Atlantic keept calling me back with its warm waters and interesting ever changing marine life. So in 2010 I moved back to Florida and have been here in Jupiter working with Scuba Works ever sence.
