Appalachia is the land of rolling green mountains, empty highways, moonshine and ancient rivers. Traffic jam? What's that??
My girlfriend and I dive in the mountain lakes, reservoirs and rivers here in Appalachia. We get to see a lot of rocks, tree stumps, catfish and pretty brown mud. That is, when the visibility allows us to see anything at all.
There's very little support for diving here, so we pump our own gas, blend our own Nitrox and inspect and maintain our own tanks and gear.
