Learned to dive in the 80's at Hopkins Marine Biology Station (Stanford U, summer quarter subtidal ecology course). Worked in Marine Bio/ reef ecology at Galapagos (summer job) and Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, San Blas, Panama (6 moths). Now just the occasional pleasure dive trip, preferably in the tropics. Maybe 200 dives to date (?).
