About eisenhauer
Biography:
My spouse, Richard, and I took up diving when, in 2006, our then-13-year-old son wanted to get certified. He asked us "so who will I dive with?". Right...that would be us! So we got certified that winter in Roatan (Richard didnt swim so it was a big accomplishment for him!) WE ARE SO HOOKED NOW it's hard to imagine any other vacation. Having said that, we love to hike/backpack/canoe etc too so try to build that into our summers as best we can. (For work, I run a non-profit and I'll boldly say: we are always looking for donors! www.cw4wafghan.ca).

Certification History:
see bio - after getting OW, we took the AOW before we had time to develop 'bad habits'. It helped build the confidence. After that, the trip to Bonaire and shore diving was another confidence builder as we weren't holding the hands of the DMs having rented a car and tanks and just DOVE. It was great.
Certification Level:
advanced open water
# of Logged Dives:
100 - 199
Dive Classification:
Just An "Average" Diver

Dive Equipment:
We rent BCs and own our regs/wetsuit/snorkel/fins/mask. The son has his own fabulous BCD he bought in Maui - SEA QUEST QD Pro. I'm checking out the female BCDs...much better fit and light weight.
SB Challenge:
I'd have to do a refresher on navigation
